According to an article, the Nintendo Switch supports a higher wattage charging mode which charges the battery much faster. Though, it requires a USB-C to USB-C cable with a higher wattage power source (like the MacBook Pro 61-watt USB-C charger), or a specifically made Switch AC Adapter.
It is recommended to simply just purchase the original Nintendo Switch AC adapter, for best results. The Nintendo Switch AC adapter lets you power and recharge your Nintendo Switch gaming system (sold separately) from any standard electrical outlet.
