So, these “LAN phones with a Microphone Input“, are not easy to find. Luckily for me, I found mine on eBaY, and it’s made by AT&T. You have to be really careful on eBaY because all sellers are not equal, some just sell stuff to make profit and don’t tell the truth about the shape or quality the phone is in. Anyways, I lucked out.
I personally would be looking for an AT&T phone that has a Microphone port built into it (2.5mm’s). The below LAN phone is a lot like what mine looks like. These go for around under $100 in CAD currency. Maybe you can get one for $60 to $70 USD. They are pretty affordable, you just have to make sure that the phone has a mic input like mentioned above.
I honestly almost took a work at home job with one of these telemarketer companies, and was already prepared with one of these phones. But I didn’t feel ready for the position. One day I will take one of these positions, though today is not the day for me to try it out yet.
Anyways, what is good to know about these phones is that (like the AT&T ML17929), is that you can dial and receive calls on two different phone lines (if connected). A speakerphone let’s you talk and listen hands free, so you can do other things at the same time and other people can even participate in the conversation. 3-Party Conferencing allows you to have a 3-way conversation between you and people on 2 other lines. The other 2 lines can be inside lines, outside lines or a combination. If you’d like to buy this phone check it out on Amazon for around $80 USD.
