Turn Your Smartphone Into A Security IP Camera!!

Now this is exactly what I was looking for, and it existed all along when I was looking for security cameras, wasting my time. It is recommended to use at least two smartphones when using this setup. One for the actual camera itself, and one for monitoring the camera, if that makes sense. All you got to do is sign into the app on both phones, though there is some setting up to do which takes barely any time at all.

I personally invested into their cloud video storage so that when the phone detects motion it’s saved to their server and not saved only on the phone itself. It’s something like $42/year for their cloud services, which is 100% worth it to me. As you can see above, the phone just looks like it’s charging, and that’s it, it’s a very discreet way of monitoring your office or bedroom or garage… what ever area you want to monitor, I don’t think most people will know that it’s actually a security camera at all!. I even think you could use this app between an iPhone and Android smartphone, well, I am already doing just that currently. I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max with a Samsung Galaxy A52 as the camera.

I also believe it is possible to turn the smartphone camera horizontally so that you can record movement that way too, not just standing, but then it would be more obvious that it might appear to look like a security camera. I believe the app is free to use but when you want their cloud services it actually costs money, so just think about that, $42/year is like around $4/month, to monitor your own home, and you can setup multiple cameras too.
