So now here is a problem, that I am so suprised is even happening. I have purchased ALOT of music on iTunes, I’m probably one of their highest paying customers for music (joking, but yes I do buy a lot of music from them), and below you will find more specific information to related to this problem…
I am now using Apple Music for Windows 10 Pro, it says version 1.5.0.160 (1.1280.40963.0), at as of the date of this article being published I am also using the latest version of Windows 10 Pro, oh and last but not least I am using iOS 17.7.1 on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Just some more info too, I recently updated my iPhone and also checked for updates for Apple Music (there was none), and what do you know, that DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM!.
Another problem with Apple Music is that all of my music that I purchased, redownloads itself to my library, even though I already backed it up!, so I got a ton of duplicates in my library. So, I guess from now on I just need to only back up the music I ripped from CD’s and leave the purchased stuff alone so Apple Music will download that for me. I remember it being recommended to back your stuff up that you bought, but maybe that’s not the case any more.
I should also add that I did talk to an Apple Support rep about this problem and I followed all his troubleshooting steps, which none of them worked, but I don’t blame the guy at all. I’ve been having issues with playing music I purchased for awhile now, but it became even worse after updating to Apple Music so far. I should also mention that all my purchased music plays just fine on my iPhone after even updating that to the latest update.
So if anyone knows a solution to this problem please leave a comment down below…thanks.
