Motorolas Nio photos have just surfaced (allegedly) online, which tips the design and colour variants of the upcoming smartphone. A well known tipster also spotted some live pictures of the Motorola device codenamed “Nio”, which has been in the news for quite awhile now. The smartphone appears to be sporting a quad rear camera with a flash right below the sensors. It could also feature a 64-megapixel primary sensor but we’re not sure yet.
The pictures were spotted by Nils Ahrensmeier on Weibo and were published on Voice. The Motorola Nio is visible in a color the leaker calls “Sky”. And there will reportedly be a “Beryl” variant of the Motorola smartphone.
In another picture where the front panel is visible along with the settings of the phone, it says “Motorola Edge Plus”, which suggests that possibly the device will be a prototype. The leaker also mentions that there is a possibility that the Motorola phone, codenamed “Nio”, could be the rumored Motorola Edge S, which is something people have been waiting for, for awhile.
As noted in a report, Motorola Nio could run Android 11 right out of the box and also feature a full HD 1080×2520 pixel display. Nio is also rumored to come with up to 12GB’s of RAM. A more recent report also says that the smartphone will be coming with a 105Hz display refresh rate. The Motorola branded phone codenamed “Nio” is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 865 SoC.
The Motorola Nio, which could be the Motorola Edge S, is expected to be released in Q1 2021.
