So I was looking for a smartphone stand that would both hold iPhones and Android smartphones, while they charge or while I’m sitting on the computer etc. Well, these were available on Amazon in two different colors, being Silver and Black. Currently, the silver one is $16.99 CAD and the black one is $14.44 CAD. I originally bought just the silver one, but then I decided I needed another, so then I bought the black one. Having two smartphones is hard to keep track of, but these stands make it easier to see them right in front of me if you know what I mean. You can pretty much use any smartphone with these stands, but I wouldn’t recommend using it for tablets. Putting a smartphone on the stand sideways is obviously a great idea so that you can watch movies horizontally, the way it should be. I’d say their motto is very true, Less is more, that’s for sure. What I also like about the stands is that there is a space for a charging cable incase you want to charge your smartphone while it sits there. There is even a little cushion for your smartphone on the black model, but you can always add tape onto it incase the stand you bought didn’t come with one.
See below, how elegantly the phone stands on the stand itself. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that where the phone sits on the stand, well, that is OBVIOUSLY adjustable, which is foldable (depending on the model), allowing you to take the stand with you in your bag or what ever. These stands are also made of Aluminum incase you ever wanted to recycle one (which I may never do). Another use for these stands is to stage your smartphone as a security camera which is what I do with the app called AlfredCamera (free for iOS and Android). That’s another story.
Anyways, the brand for these stands is Lamicall, and the quality for the price is very good. There was just no use in using books to prop up my smartphone anymore, I got tired of that, finally I have something to actually hold up my smartphone, thank heavens!.
