Well, here’s an air conditioner that will suit anyone’s needs. It’s called the “Ecohouzng Portable Air Conditioner with Heater“. If you can afford one that is. I got this one for a whopping $140, which my mom got from a second hand store and to me, it looks pretty new, and according to my sources, these air conditioners/heaters are worth well around $800 MSRP. What a deal I got myself here. Anyways, let’s get into the story of how I got it. Check that out below the image below.
I had originally bought an air conditioner for $300 from Wallmart and it really wasn’t needed until now. I actually returned it because the weather was really cold for awhile. I was thinking it was going to stay this way for awhile so… no big deal, I returned the AC thingy I got from Wallmart and got my $300 bucks back. Well, after that, it warmed up. As of this article being published today, it was 35 degrees outside (celcius) and I woke up dripping sweat in bed. It was a bit warm a few days ago but today was the hottest. Even a box fan couldn’t help you. So, I layed in bed all day and didn’t get out of bed until 3:30 PM, then I got up and was like “wow, it’s still hot out”. Got outside and did some errands, got back and was ready to take the AC up the stairs. That’s six flights of stairs to be exact. I took a break after that, and then finally set it up about an hour later. Read below the image below to read more on this story.
Once I plugged in this bad boy, it was pumping out cold air right away, and I realized that the air came out the top through the lid that lifts up. This thing is worth almost $1000!!!. How could someone spend that much on a Portable Air Conditioner?. I only bought this thing for $140. Wowzerz is all I have to say. so I set the temperature to 17 because thats what it was set on when I got it. This thing is also a heater so I can definitely use it during the winter, leaving me no choice but to leave it where it is, and that makes things easier for me.
You can lift the air flap up and down in order to choose where the cold or hot air is blowing. Most air conditioners have a vent near the top that is directional, well you have to move the whole unit to choose where the air shoots out. The remove makes things nice and convenient. I’m suprised I was able to find a remote for this thing. Anyways, another thing I’ll mention is that this thing actually makes the lights flicker a little bit when you turn it on for the first time.
I also recommend only turning on this thing when you actually need it. It can be hard on the electricity bill. If your staying up late, depending on your location, it might be cooler outside when it gets dark out so you can just turn on the fan and it will blow the cold air from outside through the AC unit without using extra electricity. Well, this is the first day I’ve used it any it seems to be okay, if you have any questions please leave a comment below and I’ll get back to you when I can. Let me know what you paid for your AC unit just so I can compare to other units for sale. Thanks for stopping by if you read this far and have a great day!.
