Even if I try to access my files (Pictures and Video) through this message coming up, I try to access the iPhone from my Windows computer and nothing is there. Just take a look below, I click on Trust every damn time.
Below is what my computer says when it tries to read the stupid iPhone 8. If you know whats going on here and how to fix it please leave a comment down below. I only made this post because I found a solution that works for me, by using iCloud.com as a way to access the files without trying to find a fix. All I need is access to my Photos and Videos.
Simply login into your iCloud.com account then click on Photos when you get there. I just haven’t tried to access videos yet from iCloud.com
I just tested iCloud for videos and it works, and only takes a few seconds to download certain videos. Everything is in good quality. But despite all of this, eventually iTunes asked me if I trusted the device that my iPhone was connected to, I hit “Continue” I think?. Wish I could take screenshots, but I wasn’t thinking about that at the time. I didn’t think it would work but I eventually got access to my iPhone from the computer without using iCloud.
The trick here is to connect your iPhone to your computer with the latest version of iTunes, and also make sure your iPhone is updated to the latest version of iOS. Leave the iPhone connected and eventually iTunes will ask you if your trust the computer it’s connected to, making you open your iPhone itself to hit the “Trust” button. Trust me, this will work!.
