According to a report, no plans have been announced to release a foldable iPhone yet, though rumors say different.

According to reports, Apple has already started creating a foldable iPhone, as said by Bloomberg last Friday. To this day, the tech giant has only worked on a prototype display with no set plans for a release date, the report noted despite citing unnamed sources.
This new prototype would have a foldable screen and an invisible hinge, according to Bloomberg. An Apple patent for a foldable iPhone had first appeared around a year ago, though Apple has yet to announce any plans as usual.
If they entered into this market with a foldable phone, Apple would be competing with Samsung’s Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Flip, as well as the Motorola Razr and the Huawei Mate XS. Way back in time during December 2018, Google had similarly filed a patent for a foldable mobile device.
For the 2021 iPhones, Apple is only planning very small minor changes, according to a report, though we could see an in-screen fingerprint sensor. Apple unfortunately did not respond to a request for comment as usual.
