So, I have been purchasing microphones for the past 10 years, I’ve search far and wide for the best microphone for gaming, that wouldn’t really require much configuration, that was an all-in-one unit. Well, I think I have finally found what I am looking for. Thanks to the review that Linus did in this YT video, I made a purchase that I will never regret making. This “Fifine AmpliGame A6T” literally had everything in one box, no need to spend $100 on all the accessories, everything was all in one box. The microphone did require some configuration in OBS Studio though and that was easy.

I don’t know why it has a happy face on it but, the RGB is a nice look and doesn’t really hurt my eyes (but everyone’s different). So yeah, all I did was order the thing on sale ($56 CAD w/ free shipping), then it showed up and I opened the box. I wish I had taken pictures of the box and such and such but, it’s not really that interesting. Anyways, all I have to say is that the setup was super easy, and I have tried to set one of these things up before, though I ended up throwing it in the garbage!, why?. Because I literally didn’t know what I was doing. It was just a waste of money. But this investment, was fully worth it. I have used this microphone every day ever since I bought it. I do wish you could turn off the LED’s on the mic but, maybe in the next revised A6T there will be a switch?, I hope so.

I should also say that if Linus from Linus Tech Tips didn’t review this microphone, I would not have bought it in the first place. I was literally waiting for him to make that video all along, kinda. I have bought probably about 10 microphones in the past 10 years, and finally that number has only gotten less because this microphone completes me, and when it stops working I will just order another one. Not likely to happen for at least a few years in my own opinion. I should also mention the build quality of this microphone is pretty good for the price. The fact that everything fits together like everything in the box was designed to *just work* is just awesome.
I really wish that back in the day I had thought of something different rather than ordering that Chinese microphone stand off eBaY which didn’t work at all with the microphone that I had. I also have gathered a lot of trust in this brand (Fifine) ever since I bought a budget microphone made by them about 3 years ago. I also wish something like this would have been released sooner. Why didn’t microphone companies ship out an all-in-one microphone like this before hand?, I think Fifine has got it all figured out now. They definitely make some Fine products that’s all I gotta say.
Also, and lastly I should mention… the sound quality is actually very good and is nicely filtered with the filter that comes with the package. The USB-A to USB-C cord is perfectly long enough to reach my computer, so this should work for most Gaming PC setups. I do recommend getting some Black Zap Straps though, to make sure that USB cord stays where it should on the arm that comes with the microphone.
Other than that, for $50, this is a steal of a deal and would recommend it to anyone just getting into streaming, or just general gaming. Upgrade later to an expensive Sennheiser microphone if you want the best of the best. If you’ve got this same microphone please leave a comment down below and let me know what you think!.
