Lately, everyone’s been gathering around the newest Galaxy S10 and S10+ to see the latest concept images, but the smaller variant of the smartphone seems to be asking for attention today thanks to a handful of leaked press images. As you can all see, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10e doesn’t really look different from the leaks we’ve seen of the Galaxy S10, though there are a few distinct characteristics which set the two apart.
The most trending difference is that the Samsung Galaxy S10e has a much smaller 5.8e display which actually makes the hole punch cutout for it’s front facing camera look very big. And unlike the flagship Samsung devices we have seen in recent history, the Galaxy S10e, they won’t have a flexible display panel and curved glass on the front. It will all be completely flat, which is likely an effort from Samsung to help lower the smartphone’s price point completely. This new device here has two cameras on the back of the three that we have seen on the Galaxy S10 and S10+
While many of the previous leaks have also insisted that the Samsung Galaxy S10e will have an in-display fingerprint reader, this new leak claims that the device will take the Sony approach and will embed the fingerprint sensor into the side of the phone. If you also take a closer look, you can also see the right edge of the phone has a smaller cutout which is roughly at the same height as the volume rocker on the left side of the phone itself.
The Samsung Galaxy S10e is also expected to be available in Prism Black, Prism Green, Pearl White and Yellow at the release date with a Blue variant coming sometime later. The price of the Galaxy S10e is also being rumored to be set at 749 euros which also converts over to $858 here in the United States.
