There is new information coming in about the Samsung Galaxy A50 which has surfaced online courtesy of the Netherlands publication Galaxy Club.
The handset will feature a 4,000mAh battery with a 24MP shooter and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Dutch publication also is suggesting that this will be an optical fingerprint scanner instead of an ultrasonic variant. The optical fingerprint scanner is also less secure than the ultrasonic one.
According to the Galaxy Club, the smartphone will also feature 4GB’s of RAM, and up to 128GB’s of storage and an Exynos 9610 processor. In addition to this, the smartphone will run on Android 9.0 Pie, which means it will also feature Samsung’s One UI.
Galaxy Club is also indicating that this handset will come with wireless charging.
The A50 will initially be released in the European markets and then is expected to be released alongside the Samsung Galaxy A30, which is a phone that hasn’t really been leaked yet apparently. Though, Samsung will reveal both smartphones after the Samsung Galaxy S10 at the very end of February.
It’s also quite important to make note of the possibility of the Samsung Galaxy A50, never being released in Canada unfortunately.
