Xiaomi has just joined some of the other Smartphone manufacturers in taking advantage of the market with the making of an Android Go model smartphone if one goes by a Redmi phone model sighted on certification sales.
Since these are directly submitted by these firms, the details probably won’t go wrong. The only difficulty is that these companies don’t reveal the exact model name on their applications and some monikers are used.
In this case of the Xiaomi Redmi Android Go model, for example, the model number M1903C3GG appears on the certification sites in Russia, the United States and Singapore. It’s also being predicted that this phone will be released as soon as Android Go with the latest Android Pie OS by Redmi (Xiaomi). The suggestion is coming from Singapore, where it was actually mentioned as “Redmi Go”.
A lot of the specifications which can be reported about this new phone are that the display size could be around 6 inches, which is a processor which clocks at 2.4GHz, and the dimensions of the phone are 141mm x 71mm’s, in terms of height and width with the thickness which is not specified. The display screen is to be expected to sport a aspect ratio of 18:9.
The Operating System, of course, will be Android Pie, version 9.0 though watered down to be Android Go. This version of the OS has of course been made by Google, to facilitate the smartphone makers to offer their customers much cheaper alternatives by fixing the lower end CPU’s and lower RAM though still enjoy the other features linked to the OS. Some applications may not actually work on these phones.
In this Redmi Android Go phone, you can actually expect 1GB’s or a maximum of 2GB’s RAM and 8GB’s or 16GB’s internal storage. In the Indian context, the price of this phone may be very well below the Rs of the 10,000 mark. Other info such as the release date is not known at this current time.
